Ecoboost Key Fob

Picture
Key fobs are generally pretty bland. I decided to shake things up a bit with the Ecoboost Key Fob. It's a very simple design, but the curves and shapes are bold, just like the MKS.

EnGen Personal Energy Generator

Picture
EnGen was an interesting project I designed in conjunction with a group of students from  University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. The idea was to create a mobile energy generator that would operate off of the power produced by an exercise bike.

I decided to make a compact tube-like structure that would break apart for use. The main tube would come apart and the two metal extensions would attach to the stems of the pedals. These two stems would power a small generator through a series of shaft and gears. The two end caps of the EnGen would couple together to form a control unit that would keep track of the power generated.

Kookaburra Kite Boat

Picture
These are the first three prototypes of the Kookaburra. It's still a work in progress, but the shape will pretty much remain the same.

Kookaburra Guidance System

Picture
The guidance system on the Naish Kookaburra was created to aid the user in kite positioning. In a nutshell, the lines from the kite will flow around the pulley's and guide's on the system. The lines will end up with two handles on the end, which the pilot of the Kookaburra uses to steer the kite.

Auto Catcher

Picture
The Auto Catcher is one of my favorite products. It's basically a training aid for baseball pitchers. It works by simply throwing a ball through one of the 9 squares in the "animated strike zone". Each square would be either blue, white or red, each color representing a hitter's hit chart. Blue is where the hitter is cold, white is moderate and red is hot.

These colors change for every player uploaded to the database. Also, the Auto Catcher automatically raises and lowers itself, and the pitcher's ball speed and break can also be monitored by a radar and camera situated at the top of the frame.

 Speedliner PHH

Picture
City buses are generally designed to be dull and boxy. The Speedliner was my take on a modern city bus influenced by classic lines and shapes, such as those found on the GM Futureliners.

Mech Monsters

Picture
The Mech Monsters were a toy brand I created. They're buildable models based around basic mechanisms, such as pulleys and levers.

PowerShaft

Picture
The PowerShaft was designed to be a power drill for the home. It's sleek and compact design make the PowerShaft easy to use. However, the PowerShaft incorporates a few features found on much larger power drills, including a  Lithium Ion battery, keyless chuck and adjustable clutch.

Flower Ring

Picture
This is a Flower Ring I made for my Mother. It was printed and cast in brass, but it's cracked and requires a re-cast. Look for updates on this one!
